Football is STILL boring
I am still insane.
Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is insanity. Let me explain...
Well in 1998 I tried to get into the world cup and just couldn’t. In 2002 I tried again and the game just frustrated me, with the ridiculous dives these players take and the monotony of pass after pass with the ball never going anywhere. This year I have tried again, figuring it may be different because Australia is playing. Well after the bore fest of Netherlands Vs Germany and the sleep worthy England game I somehow don’t think a bunch of ex pats in green and gold is going to change the fact that Soccer is and always has been boring to watch.
I won’t be insane in regards to it and expect anything different in tonight’s game. I don’t think I will even watch it. After all, the highlights will be in a twenty second news blurb in the morning so I can spare myself an hour and half of boredom and catch the seconds of the game worth watching on Sky.
I wish Australia all the best in their endeavours but sorry lads I won't be watching
Now soccer/football lovers I am not denying that the players are great athletes with tremendous skills and are good at what they do. I am just saying that what they do is fucking boring. You don’t think so, well that’s fine; you are entitled to your opinion as am I.

Blasphemy all of you!!
And no I am not a bandwagon jumper. I am just glad that I can finally support the country that I was born in, alongside my heritage's country.
I am not going to change people's mind. You either love it you hate it (much like wrestling actually).
But over 190 countries can't be wrong can they?
NB: Twas a rhetorical question
I love the game, without any qualm to admit so.
I love watching, playing, reading about, analysing, studying and learning about the game.
The best moment of my young life so far involves the game.
