Four Unrelated Topics

Something to keep my readers happy.

Four totally unrelated topics which may turn into their own topic eventually,

I promised myself I wasn’t going to get sucked in and write about these two guys but alas I have caved in. So the trapped miners are going to make millions and some of the Australian public are turning on them as a result. Really did anyone expect anything different? The guys had an ordeal and are going to profit off of it. Many others have done the same and more will in the future. I don’t have a problem with it but I just must ask what about the guy who died. Sure they had a fundraiser but that half a million is nothing compared to what the other two are going to make. Maybe since they are such nice guys they will give their friends’ widow a nice chunk of their profits.

I usually don’t agree with the smarky internet pundits but Rey Mysterio has been the worst booked WWE champion ever. He lost to Mark Henry and then got squashed by Khali. Enough has been written about this already so I won’t add more I’ll just agree that Rey’s title run is horrible, he is not believable as champion and the belt needs to be taken off of him ASAP.

Methodone programs and Sebutex will never ever help drug addicts stop being drug addicts. Replacing one drug with another is idiocy and only serves to keep the addict addicted. I better not start on this governments sometimes idiotic harm minimisation strategies or this will turn into a long boring diatribe.

How ingenious was Michael from Big Brothers long winded yet clever story to get nominated and pass his insider task? I can’t believe that some have reacted so angrily. It was an awesome lie and a great story. Michael gets my vote to stay in the house!

The Weekly Whine: Volume 3

Well this hasn’t really been a weekly whine now has it? Honestly I don’t really have that much to whine about but I have a bit today and a few questions as well.

I have been a staunch supporter of the WWE product for a long time but I have to say that Backlash was a terrible PPV. I actually regret spending the thirty dollars to watch. While I am on wrestling why can’t the smarks who bagged Triple H for 3 years straight give him some credit for what he has done in the last two years. The guy hasn’t won a PPV match in a long time. He tapped out to Cena for god sake. The man is helping build new starts and has put over Benoit, Dave, Shelton Benjamin and Cena does anyone say that he is doing good? No. The haters are strangely quiet!

Why do some fucking idiots find it amusing to tell an Alcoholic to have a few drinks and it will be alright? Do they honestly think that is amusing? Do they think I haven’t heard that same old lame attempt at humour a million times? Unlike some people I don’t moderate comments. I am free to write what I want you are free to criticize it because I can handle criticism but if you are going to attempt humour in a comment may I suggest some originality or otherwise you just look like an ass.

Why do some gullible people take the word of Michael Moore as gospel? Some of the things the guy says have merit but A LOT of what he says is pure distortion of facts to achieve whatever agenda he is trying to push that week. Remember people that there are two sides to every story and I advise you check the facts for yourself before believing a thing that guy writes. I’d love to write a column on this leftist nut but many already have. Google is your friend remember.

My new job is fine if anyone cares. It shows where society is at when a person (me) whose job it is to save lives and make addicts a functional part of society thus helping society as a whole gets paid far less than the girl who writes policies designed to make her company lots of money. Now I understand the economics of it and can accept that that is just the way it is but perhaps if we were rewarded according to the toughness of the job there would not be a shortage of counselors, social workers and nurses in this country.

Anyway I should use my free time to study!
