Random Post #2
Is this blog dead? Is it one of the two hundred million blogs in bloggy heaven. I guess since I am writing this here the answer must be no. According to this article:

blogging is dying a slow death. I guess I should do my part to buck the trend and post here a bit more often then.
In other random musings the horrific slaughter in Virginia have people on both sides of the gun debate jumping up and down and shouting the same tired old arguments they shout every time an unfortunate event like this happens. I think this clip sums it up all rather well.

Would tougher gun laws have saved lives in this case? Maybe they would have or maybe he would have just bought the gun illegally anyway. Who knows? Gun laws weren’t the issue that came to my mind when following this story. What came to my mind was the lack of resources put into caring for people with mental health issues. We have this same problem in Australia. Recently the government has been pouring money into mental health but there is still a severe shortage of resources and it is only going to be matter of time before some mentally ill person who should be scheduled goes crazy right here. The whole thing is just terrible and I don’t want to play the blame game the media can do that. Just stating an opinion and since this is my not dead blog I can.
On another tangent Wrestlemania is in the bag and boy were my predictions way off. It seems the brand split is all but over and I personally think this is a good move. Randy Orton is in trouble again. This time he trashed a hotel room. (Roid rage is a bitch) The WWE should just fire this moron and be done with it.
Haven’t been going out all that much recently. I have a mortgage now so my bank balance has suffered severe shrinkage. Some people find it amazing that five years ago I was an alcoholic bum and now have my own place in the city. I am rather proud of it myself but also humble enough to know it’s just something “normal” people do and buying a house isn’t really that big a deal in the scheme of things.
Anyway that’s this post. This blog will never die it may even be updated again soon.
